The food is pretty tasty, but the best part of this place is definitely the view. If you get a chance to sit outside, do it. It is beautiful.

The service here was the worst we have experienced in Portugal. Two waiters spent most of their time playing on their phone, pausing occasionally to hack up some phlegm (shudder). The bread we ordered arrived without butter but just some pallid excuse for olive oil. The mains were truly bizarre. We ordered two steaks. First, they were clearly minute steak, so hardly justified the price (16.5 each). Secondly they arrived with rice and chips, no sauce, and a random slice of orange and an egg on top (and one small piece of raw carrot)?!? The chips were undercooked (potentially microwaved?). The bill took around 20 minutes to arrive and when it did there was an erroneous 5 charge for a starter (rather than 2 for the dry bread). We had just cycled all day so ate what we could but this may go down in history as one of the most overpriced and disappointing meals we have ever had on tour. We left wishing we had just eaten our cereal bars for dinner. Avoid like the plague.

Gorgeous little terrace at the back of the restaurant and delicious polvo com queijo. Definitely recommended!

Food is ok...ish, but the service is very bad.

We waited for our food for more than an hour. They did win us back for a moment by bringing us a starter without asking us, but afterwards, they charged us for it. “You eat it, you pay it.” Service was poor, wine was decent, fish was dry.

Amazing food, the view is spectacular and it reminds me of eating at my grandmother's house! The service was excellent and the village itself really lives up to its name!

If an evening meal sit on the top terrace or inside as the flies come out to get you lower down. Good waiter but Portuguese language would be useful. The veal was ok, needed veg/salad. The cod very salty and bathing in oil (although traditional not that pleasant) and lacking in veg. Bread and olives ok, wine ok. Wouldn't go back but on an evening in June it seemed the only place to eat. View was amazing but could be seen elsewhere for free. Park fr free on the bend just as you get into the village. Evenings were quiet.

A comida não achei nada de especial e o preço pareceu-me elevado, staff nada a apontar, a paisagem deliciosa.
