Owner is extremely rude and argue with you for nothing. In our case, we 3 wanted a refreshment after walking around Monsanto. 2 got ice cream, 1 asked for natural orange juice. He didn't have oranges, so the third person didn't buy anything. He only let 2 of the 3 use the bathroom.

Rude. It's the first bar/restaurant you get to as you park your car at the entrance of the village. I suggest you keep walking upto the restaurant/bar further along... where you can sit outside and overlook the mountains from there...
Wow... We have been here 6 month ago and it had delicious sandwiches. Now it seems that the owner has changed and it has a very poor service. That's a pity. :( Very unwelcoming.

When you go to the Baluarte cafe, service staff look at you as owe them a lot of money, when I ordered a cup of coffee on the cup found a hair, I do not advise this place.
Op dit moment, vanwege de corona. Is er geen bediening aan de tafel. Dit vanwege zo weinig mogelijk contact te hebben. Er mogen maximaal nu 12 personen binnen zijn en aan tafel maximaal 5 personen . Er wordt gevraagd om alles te laten staan, zodat men eerst kan desinfecteren, voordat iemand anders plaats neemt. Er worden grote tosties, hamburgers en muffins geserveerd. Het brood is van de lokale bakker en de keuze van de tosties en hamburgers zijn groot. Men kan ook take away kiezen. De afstand tussen de tafels is groot genoeg. In het weekeinde hebben ze ook kleine gebakjes met een room kersen vulling, die daar vers worden gemaakt.
Péssimo cartão de visita, apesar do café vazio e de ser pré pagamento, chamaram-nos do balcão, para irmos buscar os cafés, e no final tivemos de recolher as chávenas para o balcão. Na porta do WC, está uma folha A4 com o preço de 50 cêntimos para utilização. Coloquei a questão do pagamento para utilização do WC, se era para clientes ou só para não consumidores, e a resposta que obtivemos, foi que já tinhamos passado por 2 WC's Públicos. Para finalizar, os WC's, são velhos, as torneiras estão avariadas e o chão cheio de água... Indescritível...
