If I could give zero stars I would. Wow! I thought it was just me! I experienced the same thing with offering to coach and having absolutely no help! I will not go in to details but I was asked to coach at the last minute and thought "what a great opportunity!".Once I realized (after 4 practices) that I was unable to give the children a good experience based on lack of help from the league and my busy schedule I stepped down. I emailed all parents and the league to let them know, only then did I get a response from Vanessa and a call to my business from Roger. What I found was exactly what the last comment said, no response when I asked for help, completely unorganized and from there they even told all the parents things about me that were, to say the least unfavorable. I had to hear this from my 5 and 6 year old's friends at school as they all played together and I volunteer at the school from time to time. The only emails I ever received from the league were asking to donate or buy swag, just like the Craig's experience!! To top it off my company actually sponsored the team at the 500 level and I still have not received my plaque or any response to emails asking about said plaque. I politely requested a refund for my children's fees to play as they did not want to play after I stepped down and certainly not after what all the children at the school were told about me "leaving them haning". I agree, drive to another city and do not waste your time! I am so glad I was not the only one who experienced this!!!!!!!

My husband and I volunteered to be coaches of our daughters first year of Tball. We went into it so excited for this awesome experience to teach the kids! But Sky Valley ended up being so disappointing and unorganized. They sent us our practice schedule the day before our first practice. Vanessa who is supposed to be the one gives all the information you need to know for the season hardly ever responded to any of our emails all season. After asking Vanessa about our team photos with no response, one of the players on the team showed up with everyones photos. Which made us look so unprofessional. They charged our players 4 different fees throughout the year. A sign up fee for 20 to maintain fields, a raffle basket fee of 9 each, trophies for the kids 6 each plus the fee to play 80. They were seriously the worst. Drive further and get a better experience at Shoreline Baseball or Maltby Pony. Save yourself the time and the horrible experience!
