Nice bit of history but shops are not great. No tea rooms to keep the interest of visitors.
Impressive structure, very important heritage site, landmark with Beautiful views across Minnow River to Monmouth and brilliant picnic area on the banks. Fantastic piece of history - the only one fortified bridge which survived in UK and one of not many remaining in whole Europe. Well worth a visit to feel the medieval town spirit
