Visited for an evening meal with friends during a camping trip. Excellent cosy pub serving a good range of delicious food, all much better than 'normal' pub stuff, and including decent vegetarian options. Covid-19 measures were thoughtful and made us feel safe without spoiling the atmosphere, and service was great. Managed the neat trick of catering to regular locals and to tourists like us and making us all feel welcome. Would certainly go back to the Lion Inn if I get the chance to visit this beautiful area again.

A cosy little pub that has found a creative way to keep dinners safe and to comply with social distancing rules. Food was lovely and although there was a little hiccup with my meal it was resolved quickly and in a professional and friendly manner. I would suggest giving them a ring before you visit as it's a popular place.

Traditional and cozy pub with very friendly service and absolutely delicious food and wine. There is a great selection of wines and beer. The dishes are delicious and portions are huge. It's an ideal choice for lunch or dinner with friends. Highly recommended.
Great food. Lamb was absolutely delicious and the staff were great! Has lovely outdoor seating with a lovely view. Would definitely recommend
