Shane and Howard are lovely blokes and did our cavity wall insulation well. Echoing other reviews though, they left an incredible mess inside that took hours to clean. To be fair they did they would clean it but they don’t have a hoover and as their muddy boots had caused lots of mess I didn’t think it wise to let them finish the job. We are pleased with the result but wish we had been prepared that the house would be such a mess. I had to empty my Hoover three times! Also, we were sweeping up beads from the pavement for days.

Evolve fitted my loft insulation. Two gentlemen turned up. One seemed knowledgeable and got straight on with the job, the other was clearly a trainee and was standing on unstable blue batton’s in the loft rather than the rafters. After about 30 minutes the inevitable happened and he put his foot through my 4 month old new ceiling into my sons bedroom. I stated it would require a new plasterboard section and a re-skim of the ceiling. 2 weeks later a chap turned up and slapped a bit of filler in it, 2 weeks later he cane back and slapped some paint over it. The ceilings not actually repaired and you can still see all the filler which is the size of my arm. After threatening legal action I was then told i owed Evolve the chance to put it right. They then wanted to come back and simply re-skim the ceiling (not replacing the broken plasterboard or even agreeing to gripper coast before plaster or mist coat before paint). I said this would not be acceptable to which Evolves only other offer was 200 to repair it myself and basically take it or leave it. I was quoted 600 to repair it properly by the plasterer that originally replaced all my ceilings and that was without final painting. Very let down by Evolve. I’m well am aware accidents happen but Evolve seemingly don’t have any accident liability insurance or if they do won’t use it. Shocking aftercare and customer services. I had to chase every stage of jobs, and was ignored when I told Evolve how it should be properly rectified. 4 months on and I’m left with a very bodged looking ceiling to sort out myself. AVOID THIS COMPANY AND USE SOMEBODY ELSE would be my advice.
