Have visited here previously, which is why I returned. But this time I was less happy with the state of the park. The toddler's swings have been removed

Nice large green space, and one of only a handful in Spalding. We all bring our children and pets here. The local scouts are close by, there's a playground right at the edge of it, and you also have adults playing football here occassionally, kids with kites, and organized sports activities for kids. The lawn is well-kept, the pitches are also well looked after, and I always see tractors and painters hard at work here. Please ignore that gentleman's xenophobic and shameful remark from a week ago. Many of us weren't born locally, but that has no bearing on this park. Also, our children can read too, you know, and many of them were born here. Regardless of where we're born or our heritage, though, that sort of comment isn't doing them any good. So, please be civil if you're going to leave comments like that about the only green space in the area and the very few people who use it.
Great fun for the grandkids after school .
Really nice play area for children from toddler age to young teens. Much better than the equipment that used to be there years ago. With the huge playing field next to it, the only thing it lacks is access to the toilets (reserved exclusively for clubs renting the area)
A lovely open space to take the kids for a play in the park or walk the dog
