This is what I love about (authentic) toy collectors: it's virtually impossible to find a bad person amongst them. The owner is supercool (and, weirdly enough, we were born only 24 hours apart...), we chatted about MOTU for a while and he even gave me a free sticker (and a hug!). My new favourite shop in London!

No seriously guys, if you love old toys, collectibles, boardgames or videogames from the past 40 years, you have to check the Emporium. The team is nothing but passion and expertise. The place looks like nothing you've seen before. As a collector, you might find the best bargains there and anyway have an amazing trip down to memory lane. Long Live Monkey's Emporium !!
Such a nice shop owner who is very friendly and into his nerdy stuff. The Dr who and DC selection is great. It is a must go if you are into 80s toys and Dr who.
The best shop in Candem. Vintage toys, retro gaming and a very nice owner with big knowledge. If you love retro games and vintage toys (in good state), you must visit it!
Tried to visit today, was told it was only by appointment which is fine, but the guy remarked that ‘Well it’s for collectors’. And you know I’m not a collector how? It was only around 12 and I feel like he could have arranged an appointment if he’d wanted to but I guess business is booming and perhaps I didn’t look like the kind to spend money in such a place. I won’t be returning any time soon.
