This is the worst customer service I experienced ever. I have been trying hard for 3 months to have a basic patio window installed at my house. After several weeks of emails and voice mails.. I finally got a hold of ''Mike'' (apparantly the only costumer service agent at this company which serve the Greater Moncton...he must be freaking busy Mike)I explained the situation that have been broken into in November and we are without a patio door and winter is coming. Finally mi January..They send by email a price...no quote...they wanted us to pay in advance du to a costum order without sending any proper quote. I had to contact them just to get a proper quote. We finally got it, payed it and they confirmed a delivery date set. Today..the delivery date is here, nothing, no confirmation, no call, no email....little odd, therefore, I called them to confirm the appointment/installation time....they made we wait on the phone...trying to find my information, put me on hold, like they never heard of me or something... to finally tell me the installation won't happen because they didn't take into consideration that Monday was an holiday. And that is only the tip of the Iceberg. Really frustrating! Like... come on guys...-16 outside and we are still without a patio door since November!
Waited a month with a leaking window. The repairman came in, gave a cursory glance at the window and said "we can't help you" and left after 30 seconds. I asked politely "could you suggest someone who could?" He said "we will be in touch" and never bother to phone us. This 30 seconds cost 200 dollars.
Maritime windows and doors cant mess up orders, repairs, billing, deliveries, paperwork, salescalls etc any more if they TRIED! Literaly not one thing went right with these guys on several occasions. I outright was ignored by my sales rep, windows were late, windows were damaged, windows were mis-billed. I couldn't be more annoyed with them at this point. Do yourself a favour and spend your money somwhere else. Bigger isnt always better and im incredibly disappointed and frustrated by every facet of this company i have interacted with! Very best
After requesting windows that with colored frames on the outside and white on the inside (the same as the rest of my windows in my open concept kitchen/livingroom/dining). The windows arrived, colored on both inside and outside and some windows with white grills and some colored. The person I was working with, was new, I was their first customer. Because I had signed the purchase order (at the time I even said, I don't speak window, so I hope all these abbreviations get me what I want) After weeks of fighting with them, they finally replaced grills, but refused to replace the frames. So rather than admitting, their new employee made a mistake (and possibly should have had someone with more experience review their orders before sending them out). I'm now stuck with different colored window frames in my kitchen/livingroom. We buy quite a few windows and I guarantee they won't come from Maritime door and window. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE!
I had a service call today to replace a door window, and they were on time, fast, and efficient. I especially appreciated that I scheduled the appointment mostly over email. They have also replaced several windows in our house and they do a great job.
Bought all my windows and doors from here for a brand new build. Had 3 windows that are 3 years old that stopped closing properly. Called them and they charged me 150 the day of my call and said someone would come next month. First of all charging before I even get an appointment confirmation is ridiculous. And what kind of warranty is that when you have to pay??? Turns out the issue with my windows was that they weren't properly built at the factory. So I had to pay 150 to fix their own mistake. I would not recommend this company sadly. I know several people that work there and wanted to support them but the service after the fact is disgusting.
Too many overpriced charges. Perfect example was 140 just to come to your home to give an estimate for routine maintenance. Not impressed.
