Beautiful setting with people serving their passion! What a gorgeous place, located right on the marina, but tucked away just enough to provide an intimate atmosphere. We were blown away by the service and hospitality, as well as the 7 course menu perfectly tailored for Vegans! The wine list included several bio-dynamic and ‘ancestral’ wines which was fantastic. All in all, you can really taste the craft, love and passion in all the dishes and as plant-based eaters we loved it to the fullest.

After 2 more visits we have changed our rating down to 3. It keeps disappointing unfortunately. Conclusion first: A bit disappointed ? yes Price: The cheapest Michelin restaurant we have been to so far this is number 12. Only 66 euro for a testing menu that left us very very full. Far from the best Michelin but also for sure not the worst and the best restaurant in Alicante and on top of that amazing location. The appetizers were disappointing none of them stood out. The mains - one was very good others okay. Desserts - one was very good.

The location in the Alicante marina set the scene even before you enter the place, for a very good evening. When entering the restaurant, you are meet by the nice staff and very stylish decoration of the the restaurant. We got a table by the window on their courtyard, with a view of the marina and the Santa Bárbara castle in the background. On many Michelin restaurants, they are competing who can do the most avant-garde, but not here. This is a temple of pure simplicity, where the ingredients are are the star of the show. The staff is very important for a good experience, which they here clearly focus on having the right people employed. Very nice service and knowledge about the food and wine. Our youngest son (age 9) has been cooking since before he could walk and has a dream of becoming a master chief, which we told the waiter, a short while last the master chief María José San Román showed him around the kitchen and told him about the ingredients they use and how they cook the to give the best experience. She later said with us a the table and gave us a lecture on her strong passion for olive oil. Excellent food, atmosphere and staff. I will recommend this place for everyone who seeks a gourmet experience where simplicity and focus on excellency is the driving force.

We ate here for Xmas Eve. It was a fixed menu. Very appealing, beautiful presentation, great service & surrounded by the water. Exquisite restaurant in Alicante

Wonderful michelin star quality food as expected, but compared to other michelin starred restaurants the chef is extremely friendly. As she was there that night (chefs arent always at their restaurants) she greeted each table after they sat, and came out to chat about things a few times during the meal. Also exceptional that this is one of the few michelin starred restaurants with a female chef. As can be expected from a restaurant in Alicante on the seafront, most of the main dishes are fish or seadood based, with a couple of references to other regional food such as turron (a sweet made of almonds), rice (such as in paella) and spanish sausage (similar to chorizo but without the paprika). Well worth a visit if you are visiting Alicante on holiday, even if you haven't been to a michelin starred restaurant before, as the very friendly staff (who all speak english, including the chef) would make this a great first experience of fine dining at its best
