It was a good \travel stop\ we had four different dishes and they all worked. The young staff were excellent the service was good. The food was good.bthw price was fine. The decor was very traditional but actually suited the town. I would go back.

Breakfast was good, the Haggis, Eggs and beans were the best part, sausages were more like chipolatas which was disappointing and the bacon was thick cut. The staff were nice and friendly and Covid rules were followed to the letter, Overall it was good and if your looking for a simple Scottish breakfast I would recommend the Rumblin Tum
A lovely cup of coffee and shortbread biscuit. The staff were very nice and helpful. CV19 cleaning of tables etc was the best I have seen. Highly recommended
Stopped here on the way back from Newton Stewart food and staff very nice good selection of cakes which were finger lickin good
Not impressed. We were seated opposite kitchen, which I have no problem with, but what I observed was unbelievable. One of the men that was preparing food was putting salad on plates with his bare hands, no gloves or tongs. He then wiped his hands on a wet cloth instead of hand washing.. I then observed him take his mask down, rub his nose, put his mask back on, then immediately handle our paninis with his dirty hands. When brought to the table by the waitress, I asked to speak to the Manager, she went and got him and low and behold it was the man preparing food with no regards to health and hygiene... Will not be back.... This should never happen if complying with relevant regulations...
