The staff is really friendly and they are really from Russia. The food is of course Russian and very tasty.

A hidden gem! Having grown up with Russian parents and eaten a lot of Russian food, I can only say that the food was outstanding. The fried pelmeni were a highlight for us, but our main courses were also delicious. The ambiance was so cute and charming, you feel like you're in a little cabin in the woods. The service was very quick and friendly. There is lots of seating available, downstairs, upstairs, and on a good day, outside too, but maybe make a reservation just in case. One note for anyone who didn't pay too close attention to the menu, if you wish to order shashlik, you have to do this 3 days in advance and it's only available, I believe, on weekends.
