Mistley Fisheries

We have recently moved locally and now tried all the fish and chip shops around Lawford, Mistley and Manningtree. We have settled on this one as our favourite and the best! The fish and the batter are AMAZING!!! Having had the cod and haddock, it is beautifully cooked, lovely and meaty (NOT dry, \super fishy \ or overcooked). We have been here a few times now, the food is consistent, piping hot and tasty. We order ahead. Pay by contactless. The social distancing and their PPE attire is good. Everywhere is clean and tidy. Great pricing. What's not to love! It's our regular! Recommend

Absolutely delicious fish and chips. Nicely boxed and packaged for takeaway. Currently operating covid friendly ordering where you get a number and are called back in when your food is ready. Fish was crispy and tasty. Huge portion of chips and all really crispy and fluffy

Really lovely staff, great food... I have seen a couple of reviews complaining about the quality... all I can say is I think people have been unlucky... I have had fish & chips three times over last few weeks and the quality has been really good every time... great that it’s open again....

Delicious food. So glad it's back up and running. We eat there once a week and the kids love it too. Would definitely recommend.

Best chip shop in the area. Good portions, not greasy and perfect chips. Riverside is a close second, but Mistley fisheries takes the trophy!
