Beautiful gardens set in fantastic Dorset countryside. Very informative signage and staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Good social distancing. Excellent selection of gluten free food. A thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable day out. Thank you.

Our first visit, loved it. Great timing for the autumnal colours. Will definitely go back. Good value too.

Absolutely fantastic gardens. We parked in the car park opposite St. Andrews Church, the parking is free for visitors. I think we were the only ones visiting the grounds when we went, we left our details at the hut along with checking in via the NHS covid 19 QR code app, left our money in the honesty box and off we went. Note that if there is no one available to receive your fee there is no one to give you change, it is 6 per person. You can visit the website and buy anual tickets, it would be nice if they offered this option for a single visit. The cafe was closed when we arrived but that wasnt a problem and it stated on the website that there were toilets available but we never needed to use them so didn't look for them. Even though drizzly when we visited it was brilliant, a magical place were you can take your time and walk the one way system, that has been put in place, around the gardens, plenty of benches to take a pew, it can be a little steep in places but take tour time. In my opinion not wheelchair friendly. If you have young ones I am sure they would love walking the trail and spotting the character boards they have around the gardens. Great information on route telling you what types of plants and trees are planted and boards telling you about some of thw installations in the garden. We will definately visit again. Can imagine it is stunning when its all in full bloom. Perfect way to spend an afternoon highly recommend.

Lovely landscape and friendly staff. My 1 year old loved exploring! Really handy to be able to get a takeaway coffee and toastie as well, during this lockdown!
