Dr Wheeler never once wanted to do a sleep study on my trached vented child. I had to learn through other parents and another pulmonologist why my kid needed one. And need one he did. Turns out he has sleep apnea and under Wheelers care we never would have found that. He pushed lots of steroids and preventative antibiotics on us. He uses much higher doses than what the studies show are recommended and what his peers prescribe. He’s in cahoots with PHS nursing agency and cut our hours below what our insurance would cover. Note they do that so they can take on new patients and Wheeler is an investor in their company. Other doctors at CRCCS are good. Stay away from Wheeler though.
