Tao used to be one of my favorite places to go for herbs and such. I was recently notified by one of the owners that they do not require or enforce mask wearing in the store. As a result, I will no longer be using Tao for my herbal needs, seeing that they are not following the state's guidelines for COVID precautions :)

one of my favorite lunch options in minneapolis! friendly to vegan friends. priced to reflect careful selection of organic produce. always fresh, always ambient. natural remedy shop attached to cafe. definitely worth a visit.
The food is great, but I made an order for pick-up about a month ago and when I got home I noticed they forgot to include the turkey sweet potatoes I added to my order AND paid for. I wasn’t angry, mistakes happen. But I was told the owner would call me and reimburse me the 9 worth of food I didn’t get...well, multiple phone calls to the cafe and not one word from the owner and still haven’t been reimbursed or at least given credit. Very very disappointed. Paying 30 for a salad when I didn’t even get half of what I ordered is ridiculous.
I would give this place 10 stars if I could! I love it here. The vibe, the food, the staff- all are wonderful. The staff is always so friendly and inviting. My favorite spot to study and meet friends in the Twin Cities!
Very good food! Service was pleasant. Definitely going back.
