If you like tongue then you will love this restaurant, provided you find a seat as it's a very small place. A group of ten would probably take up most of the seating. There are a number of set menus for lunch, all of which include tongue, rice, and miso soup. I'm not really a huge fan of tongue as I find it a little too tough, but this restaurant has the most tender tongue I've had.

Grilled ox tongue and fish are great but very limited choice. Staff is friendly, and yet price is rather expensive.
美味しかったです。 肉厚ですが焼き目の少ない柔らか系タンです。
静かに過ごせて良かったです。
ディナー利用。8,500(２人で) 定食(大盛り)、酒(数杯ずつ)、つまみ数品… お腹いっぱいいただきました 栃尾の油揚げ 600 牛タン辛み 400 定食は、2,000〜3,000です。 牛タンのお店は足を運びまくりですが 荒 が一番 美味しいタンを提供してくれると思っています。
注文したメニューにケチをつけられ、高圧的な態度をとられました。それほど空腹ではなく、定食だと多いと思い、牛タンとスープのみを注文しただけなのに…。一体何が不満だったのか分かりませんが、最低限の接客もできない店だと言うことは分かりました。牛タンが肉厚で美味しかっただけに非常に残念です。
