Good noodle with thick soup. Moderately priced food and sake. The staff were all attentive and kind. Pets are allowed to enter to outside tables. Sunday noon this place was full.

Really wish we had an additional stomach to house the generous portions. Very friendly staff and oh lord, that soup... Generous amounts of noodles in vegetable base. Able to add pork or chicken at extra cost. Tempura was okay, chose the eel but couldn't appreciate it too much. On the pricey but great quality and taste!

Open as of June 6, 2020. Pet friendly. English menu available. We really enjoyed our hōtō and tempura here! Also, they have 3 covered outdoor tables, so you can eat here with your pet dog. They sell some dog treats, too! Note, also, that the standard menu has a set meal with the noodles and tempura, but you can order just the noodles or just tempura if you're not super hungry. To be honest, it was a bit too much food, but I ate everything anyways because it was so good! I ordered the chicken hōtō (thick flat udon noodles in a miso broth) which has pieces of skin-on chicken thigh, fried tofu skin, some big chunks of kabocha squash, shiitake mushroom, and green onion. The set came with several pieces of veggie tempura (1 kabocha squash, 1 carrot, 2 sweet potato, 1 shishito pepper). The tempura was nice and crispy while the inside vegetables were perfectly cooked through. Set price for hōtō and tempura is 1580yen to 1780yen (depending on your hōtō order: veg, chicken, pork) Definitely recommend checking this place out, especially if you want to bring your furry friend or sit outside for a hōtō meal!
