Very flavorful vegetable noodles. I would give it 5 stars if they serve meat. The veggies are carrot, cabbage ,pumpkin and mushroom. Noodles are chewy and thick. The pot is quite big and hot. Nice restaurant with unique architecture

Amazing dome restaurant with Mt Fuji view, their noodles are soft and the broth is very tasty, it has lots of vegetables! Totally worth to stop and try it out! The restaurant is very spacious.

The noodles are thick and the soup is full of vegetables and flavor. Really good food! The restaurant looks like an igloo from the outside, and once you enter you will see that all the tables are in one big room. The room is huge, so when people are shouting or laughing, you can hear an echo.

The architecture is modern and interesting. On a sunny day you’d be able to see Mt Fuji from the restaurant. Doesn’t have so much choices on the menu but everything seems pretty delicious! We only ordered Hoto, which is like a big bowl of udon with miso and mixed with vegetables like pumpkin, cabbages, and mushrooms. The food came really fast and it was delicious!

Very interesting building. It kind of looks like an igloo. Their signature dish is ほうとううどん (hōtō udon), a soup with vegetables (carrots, mushrooms, pumpkin, cabbage...) and thick noodles. They serve it on a really hot pot. It’s delicious and you feel full after eating it, but I felt they put too much cabbage on it. Anyway, a nice place to try local food. Nice and quick service.

We went to Saturday 11:00 and it was already line! You might need to wait little bit. They have another brunch near there but this shop style is cool! Houtou Udon is just 1 option so you don’t need to chose. It’s big one so you need to be hungry when you go there. Taste really good. Full of vegetables.

First time trying the famous thick udon, it was absolutely amazing! I found the price to be fair, however more vegetable would have been nice. We also ordered raw horse meat (basashi) but was not as good. The meal was served within five minutes after seated. There are 300 seats available, but was almost full during lunch time.

This restaurant is so special! Lovely and outstanding architecture, good food... it feels so authentic! They only serve one main dish which contains some veggies in big chunks and very thick Udon! They also have some other side dishes! The portion of the food is quite big, however since there is no meat or fat you can easily finish it! The food comes in very big size hot pot ... perhaps the idea is to have a simple, delicious, warming and hippie style food in fresh weather of Yamanashi with the beautiful view of Fuji San! Highly recommended... it is not only for the food! It is for the sake of experience you can have
