4 of us turned up on our bicycles and the restaurant was open fronted onto the street. We didn't really expect they could accommodate us without a booking but they were happy to give us a table at the front so we could keep an eye on our bikes that we didn't lock up. All 4 of us really enjoyed the food. We had calzone and ravioli. The only think I would have changed was the mozzarella, bit too much for my taste and a bit too chewy. Delicious in every other respect.

Lovely independent restaurant. Really enjoyed the laid back and friendly approach to customer service. Food was tasty and served in a decent timeframe at a good price. Nice selection on the menu too. If you want a slick experience this probably isn't the place for you but I loved the family friendly and non corporate atmosphere. Would definitely return and would recommend.

Great as always. We're so lucky to have this great restaurant within easy reach. Perfect authentic Italian cuisine, I recommend the sea food pasta, but I've never had a bad dish here.

We had a great experience all-round, the staff were attentive and everyone adhered to the covid-19 Gov regs. The food was AMAZING!!! Clearly cooked from scratch as it took about 45 mins between starters and mains (tip....get a starter if you arrive hungry!). We sat as a table of 4 by the open-fronted restaurant, which was perfect for feeling the cool air and keeping an eye on our parked bicycles without needing to sit outside on the pedestrian high street. We shared our starters and desserts....which worked out well, as the portions were really generous! Ive attached photos. We sat there enjoying every bite. The only two food criticisms we could give, are.... 1. the men found that their cal zones contained too much mozzarella (too difficult to chew) although everything else was bang-on! Us girls are cheese fiends so would have LOVED the extra mozzarella,I guess it's just a question of taste 2. We weren't offered any parmesan to top our exquisite spinach and ricotta canelloni....but to be honest the butter and sage sauce was so lush that we didnt need the extra dairy calories!
