When entering the store there was no caution whatsoever or person to sanitize hands or the carts to be cleaned. There was no respect or consideration from both the employees and the customers. There was no order to keep people safe during the pandemic. An employee literally almost bumped into me. No one is paying attention to their surroundings. If this is how it is out in of the store, I do NOT want to know how disorganized and unsafe it is in the back rooms. This place is not being safe during the pandemic.

After some time of not visiting this place now seems like their cooked food service is falling down in quality. Tamales are not good anymore and the chicharrón very dry .. Not coming back for now!..

I've been going to the 27th street location, can't say enough good things about this place. Really cool selections of ethnic meat cuts. Finally a place that has pork with flavor. My new grocery store!

Like a mini El Rey. Meaning less is available here and it's a bit claustrophobic. The tamales are good though and there are meats, fruits, and vegetables you can find.
