I have seen some pretty great bands/musicians here. It has been remodeled so it should be better than it was. The sound is good if you are under the roof. One big problem is that the restrooms are outside of the amphitheater, so you need to show your ticket to get back in and if it is pouring rain and your ticket was printed on a pc printer the ink runs and you cannot get back in.
Good acoustics. Higher roof now allows for larger production. I hope on phase 2 of the renovation that they widen the concourse to get out.
I went there for a Bon Iver concert during Summerfest. The venue is great. Pro-tip: You can take amazing photos at the top on the lake side.
