Had an appointment today at 14.40. The branch managed to call me yesterday to make sure I didn't have covid. I could not find the branch as unbeknown to me its hidden at the very back of tesco without signage. I called 3 times no answer. Eventually 8 minutes later they answered and advised where they were. When I got there 2 people who were stood there (too busy to answer the phone) said as I was late the optician had gone to stretch his legs rather than call me or indeed wiat. Not sure why he would take a break when he is supposed to be seeing me. He couldn't help answering the phone as he would be in with someone when in fact that someone was trying to call them. Didn't think to call me and the 2 ladies in the shop refused to call him! This is what's wrong with this country, people finding problems for solutions! I have used vision express for over 10 years and I'll try specsavers now! Then order the glasses online and save a fortune.

Literally trying to call up to get a copy of my prescription and the phone just rings how can no one be picking up the phone at reception this is very poor customer service and I think tesco should part ways with them being in store shocking!

I completely agree with the other reviews about this Vision Express outlet. Shockingly bad customer service particularly from one staff member who either hates her job, she hates people or both. But no matter what the problem is it shouldn't be inflicted upon their customers who just want basic attention. I've had the same terrible experience on three occasions before deciding to walk away and visit Boots just opposite the store. The difference in service is like night & day!
