Milton Keynes The Beauty Academy(Brow shaping brows and lashes tinting) I was told I will receive a starter kit in order to do a patch test 24hrs before the course and the kit didn't arrive so I couldn't practice brow tinting on myself at the course and obviously,couldn't practice it at all. There was no parking there,coffee and tea was not offered as they said. I've been told to bring lunch but there was no break,I was told to bring 2 medium towel and didn't need to use them. In 3 hrs the tutor covered all the theory about brow shaping brow and lash tinting. Yes,the THEORY. The practice consisted in using strip false lashes applied on a rubber model and waxing \INVISIBLE EYEBROWS\ because we couldn't practice on colleagues/tutors because of the virus. So the tutor just used a brow pencil to draw some eyebrows on the model's head for us to wax it. Where in the world is that good learning practice? Overall,I am extremely disappointed and consider it waste of money and time. I had no practice learning whatsoever. The tutor insisted more on reading and explaining some piece of infomation about tinting,desinfectant products and other stuff that anyone will pick up just by reading it at home rather than paying attention to what we were supposed to be able TO DO after this course. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Sorry !

Small private beauty training which is fabulous. The parking is the only issue, during the week you cannot park in the courtyard but there is parking along the high street.
Just completed The Beauty Academy's Express Massage course with Alexia. She is a very thorough and well versed tutor. I really enjoyed my day and got a lot from it. The Academy's premises are amazing, it is probably the best training centre that I have been too. I am looking forward to going back for more training in the future.
I have done various courses through The Beauty Academy at both Milton Keynes and Cambridge Sites and they are so friendly/welcoming and absolutely amazing with their students! Small class sizes and passionate, detailed tutors go hand in hand to offer a vast range of Beauty courses for complete beginners to qualified beauticians wanting to refresh their skills! These courses were perfect for someone like me wanting to gain knowledge and certification quickly and easily to enable me to start up a beauty business from the comfort of my own home. 1 day intensive courses really have been the way forward in ensuring I can take my home business step by step and add to my treatment range as and when I please by simply booking course by course at an affordable and worthy cost! Brilliant company!
I completed a 1 day dry manicure and gel application course. The training provided was excellent and with it only being small groups (there were 6 of us) all our questions got answered. The trainer was obviously an expert in beauty and was a fountain of knowledge this is the 3rd course I have done with the beauty academy and will continue to do all my courses with them. I highly recommend them.
