Fantastic Moo-seum! Home of the world famous MK concrete cows. The ‘Connected Earth’ section is brilliant - see an extremely rare k3 telephone kiosk, a series of remarkable telephone exchanges and a boggling collection of novelty phones

Surprisingly cool. Guides know everything and give you great personal attention. Really interactive place (normally), but the guides explain how things were back in the day and how the things in the house relate to the time, views and prosperity. Great place, lots to see, great staff. Definitely recommend a visit!

The volunteers were so good. So many interesting anecdotes about Victorian times and traditions. Really brought things to life for our party. We will return for more!

Absolutely fantastic! We visited today and want to say a huge, huge thank you to the lovely staff and volunteers we met today. Really informative tour around each area of the museum, finished off with a lovely cake in the garden!! All brilliantly laid out to ensure social distancing etc. Honestly couldn't fault it! See you all soon!

Excellent and well worth the visit. This is more of a living museum than the name suggests with lots of period sets and tableaux depicting Victorian life. There are lots of shops displaying old products, displays of farming, electrical and motor related equipment, and mock homes with demonstrations of Victorian household gadgets. The telecommunications room is great fun for the kids with an opportunity to use vintage phone equipment to ring each other. There is also a motor museum with some interesting exhibits of cars, trucks and motorbikes. Final stop is the cafe which sells delicious home made cakes.
