i had a pioneer unit and the buttons stopped working.so i contacted pioneer, to see if it was under warrantee .they gave me dtronix number and i contacted them had to take the afternoon. assuming they would fix it. they said this would be collected and i waited for a date, on the day it was to be collected i had to take the afternoon off work. and the turned up before the time due so lost half a days pay for nothing i was angry but ,arranged another day and the didnt turn up.so i posted it myself. 3 days later i got a call saying it had water damage and they cant touch it until i pay 36 .... well if they never looked at it how do they know it had water damage, but i thought its under warranty so i paid , ive asked them how from my car to them did it get water damage ,a damaged cage, and screen, there was nothing wrong with it besides the buttons. do not use this company they will rob you blind, they are now asking for 270 to fix it.so for the sake of a volume button .they are threatening to dispose of it,

Had warranty repair with pioneer and these guys were great. Kept me up to date on what was happening and managed to get a replacement radio instead of a repair (newer model as well) Would definitely recommend.

Outstanding communications, Outstanding technical expertise and capability, Outstanding service. My Alpine CD/tuner head unit has served me well for 25 years, but started malfunctioning. Firstly, I was astonished that Dtronix confidently accepted the vintage unit for appraisal. I was even more impressed when they managed to diagnose ALL of the problems and quote a very reasonable price to repair the considerable number of faults and recondition other worn components. The head unit is back in my car now, looking and working like new, and I'm as thrilled with it as the day I first bought it. I will not hesitate to send the unit back to Dinker and his team at Dtronix should it ever play-up again, but I very much doubt that will ever be necessary.
