This day nursery looked after our two kids aged 5 and 10 during their school holidays. We cannot think of any issues with the service provided by them. All the carers were very professional and always provided us with a feedback about the child at the end of the day. Kids had a good combination of indoor and outdoor activities which they really enjoyed. We did not have any worries about our kids safely in this place and we would recommend this day nursery to anyone who is looking for child care.

I have 3 daughter's and they have been going to Millstone Day Nursery since 2014 ..I use the After School and Holiday Care that they provide. I have to say the service they provide is very much appreciated I wouldn't be without them. The staff are fantastic and friendly and are always willing to help. I would definitely recommend Millstone Day Nursery to family and friends.
My kids been there since they were babies. Now we use the nursery for after school and holiday club. Whatever I will say about the team it's not enough. Caring, professional. I don't know what I will without them. Recommend it to everyone.
I would highly recommend Millstone Day Nursery. Both of my children were attending nursery and then - after-school and holiday club (still attending holiday club). It is a great, friendly and safe place with tons of entertainment for my children and a very reliable service for me. As for a single mother high quality and reliable childcare is a key to manage daily life, Millstone Day nursery is a perfect fit. Without a doubt I know, that my children are collected from school and more than happy to spend time at after-school care, while I am at work.
Having moved to the UK from a different country, I was very cautious about selecting a nursery for my son. I made it a point to go and view nurseries myself before deciding a safe place suitable for him. I also sent him for pre-visits before finalizing on Millstone. What attracted me the most was the safety of the place, and the number of carers for each play room. There are named separate rooms for each age group cared by well trained staff. I am happy I chose this place for my son, as he settled in really quick. Some of the things that I would like to point out as a parent are: 1) the cleanliness and hygiene (smells very pleasant and looks very clean and tidy even at the end of the day) 2) The activities they involve the kids in are tailored to the development of each child. They even give rewards to the kids in the form of certificates which is a very good gesture. 3) No screen time(this is something where Millstone stood out compared to the other places I visited) 4) CCTV in their office(every corner is monitored well) 5) Water area(The kids get to serve water themselves in glasses, teaching them become independent) 6) Different kinds of play, the children don't get bored. My son goes for 9 hours, and doesn't complain. 7) They write down their observations of the child's learning and development depending on the activities involved and give it to the parent to read and sign, which is a heart warming thing for me as a person. I get to read about how he has settled in well. 8) They also have school pick up and drop off service which I am sure I will be using once her stars going to school! Overall, I can be at peace at work because I know my son is in safe hands, and they look after him with just as much affection and care as I would do. Thank you Karen, Tracey, Deb and the entire Millstone family for looking after him so well! :) You guys are awesome!
