After dealing with this post office for over 30 years and found the service great to mediocre, today was a nasty one. If you are too miserable to give customer service retire. Then I won't bother you anymore just asking a simple question in minus 45 weather that determines if I drive into town. Kindness goes a long way.

I absolutely adore the Millet post office, and all of the wonderful people that work there. I have lived in Millet for 6 years now and I have never had an unpleasant experience at our post office. The staff have learned both mine and my husband's names and faces, and they always welcome us warmly. I love going in to get my mail, this post office has such a welcoming small-town feel! I do a lot of online ordering - I'm a complicated customer - and the staff are incredibly patient with me. Canada Post - the staff that you have at the Millet location are gems!
Service is always 50/50 I get some employees are only doing their job, but the ones who have known you for years tend to treat you better. It would also be nice to be able to find the online number when looking on Google maps.
While half of the staff is friendly, and for lack of a better word, “normal”, there are 3 specific members of staff that are litigious to the point of being obstructive, consistently and completely disinterested in any merit of customer service and almost compulsively driven to default to “no” as an answer to ANY question. I can’t count the number of times I’ve had my mail withheld or been denied access to my mail over arbitrary “violations” of “procedure and policy” after my valid Alberta Drivers License was deemed non-sufficient for their purposes, even though no one could tell me precisely what those policies and procedures are. This afternoon, my daughter was also denied access to a parcel addressed to her with an address that matched her valid government issued ID and her father present with his ID as well with only a dismissive “she’s underaged” given as a reason and absolutely no opportunity to explore the policy or resolutions before they were flatly refused service. Interestingly, when I accompanied her minutes later and presented MY ID, the attending clerk didn’t so much as glance at anymore than my picture before handing the package over. Having lived in MANY communities throughout the years, I can confidently say that I have NEVER encountered such a neurotic commitment to difficulty in any other Canada Post Office. If you have ANY other option for shipping or correspondence, I highly recommend pursuing it.
These Postal workers go above and beyond, I have nothing but good to put forward here, they are awesome .
Lived in 8 different places in and around the Edmonton area in almost 8 years, and this is by far the worst post office out of all of them. Office closed sometimes 10 minutes early. Two senior staff members in particular are painful to deal with, make no effort to help resolve issues and are overall just terrible people to have in a public relations position.
Leanne was amazing helpful and took the time to explain everything step by step. This came after going to the Rexall post office and having just been given a phone number to call.
Classic, cute, small town post office - with a twist. None of the workers want to go out of their way to help you. Every time I call to inquire on shipping or an incoming package, they seem happy to tell me that "I can't assist over the phone" or "I can't do that". I understand that some things cannot be completed over the phone, but the workers at the Millet Canada Post need to learn about customer service standards. I'll be shipping UPS or FedEx from now on.
