Miller and Carter Basingstoke saved Christmas for us :) We booked a table for Christmas day, but due to a medical emergency, we weren't able to make it, so the manager suggested we come and pickup the food as take-away, and even lent us a few of their dishes. The food was exquisite, from the appetizers (baked Brie and chicken livers) to the mains (steak, of course), and the desserts (Black Forrest cake). An experience we will never forget. Thank you for saving Christmas for us this year!

I'd heard lots about this place, people I know recommended it, but I wasn't impressed I had booked online a round table, for 5 adults, great got that but I had to ask for it to be cleaned when we sat down as it was dirty. Service was great Amy our waitress was very helpful and friendly and explained things well. I can only comment on my food, though others did have comments. I ordered rib eye steak medium cooked, which was served with onion loaf, steak it was undercooked, fat not rendered so raw, meat was gristley, onion loaf soggy and disappointing, chips were nice. I & one other ordered a glass of prosecco, OMG smallest glass ever 4.50! I asked for green tea with dessert, no they don't have it, I was very disappointed in this. My dessert sticky Toffee pudding, was disappointing, not enough Toffee sauce and Sponge was not light. I make better! In my opinion the food is overpriced, the prosecco even more so. Very well presented though. The bill for 5 for mains & desserts & 1 drink each (2 of them soft)& 3 coffees was 188 we could easily have had the same in a beefeater for half the price and got green tea! Won't be back.

Beautifully decorated establishment. A very warm greeting on arrival. My partner is disabled, so they were very tactful and considerate when seating us. Plenty of beautiful and tasty dishes to choose from, from starters through to dessert. A great wine list. Very attentive, knowledgeable staff. The food was amazing, and my steak was cooked exactly to my liking. We very much enjoyed our visit. Highly recommended
This restaurant it's amazing. Delicious food, elegant atmosphere, staff that goes above and beyond to make you feel special. I love it!
