We waited ten minutes to get service at our table. The food was room temperature and when I asked for it to be heated up, it came back not much warmer. There are better places to eat. The food looked great, but that was about all.

Food very good. Only thing I would like ro see a few more choices on the menu.
To describe our experience other than good coffee & pleasant waitress would be to say it was awful. Why we even paid I don't know. The food was overcooked and long before we arrived. Roast beef special smothered in overcooked gravy. French fries soggy, no Yorkshire pudding-no coldslaw. We weren't even asked how things were. Things have to be pretty bad for me to complain but this one can't be left unsaid. It would have been better to say the special was all gone & ask us to order off the menu rather than to serve us stuff that was headed for the garbage! We do go to Truro fairly often to patronise other eateries & from now on Saltscapes will be a drive by.
had a great fish burger and side salad ... the house brew it's good too.
