What a gem well off the beaten track in a very quaint village. Very quintessentialy English village rural retreat. Great food at reasonable prices with the staff being freindly and efficient. Only a couple of miles detour off the A66 but well worth the extra few miles.
Food was absolutely delicious. Simple but utterlg tasty. Salad was tasty as hell with little cubes of celery. Wld recommend for food However i felt staff were slightly off. Female tanned lady was slightly off spoke on 2 occasions and was ignored and i was taken aback. Felt the customer service needed to be polished as i would have returned again and again but felt there was a slight aloofness which was outputting. That aside food was devine
