Two small lakes. Mainly rainbows with small population of browns. Currently 25 for two fish limit / 5hours fishing. Current rules during covid-19 finish at 6.00pm. Sure this will change soon, for evening rise. Price currently is high but just about works for me, as I am local. Fish quality excellent, latest visit 5.5lb and 3.5lb very lively excellent fight. Lost two good fish prior to catching. Not easy and will require a reasonable amount of finesse to catch. Friendly welcome and tips from owners, I think, on arrival.

What a place,had a great day today was very hot and fishing was tough for a while but rewarded in the end with 4 fish.Best was 6lb 6oz for me and my fishing buddy was was rewarded With 4 fish best being 7lb 2oz,people very friendly with coffee and a hot pie which was much appreciated.Thankyou guys nodoubt will be returning soon for another great day.
On our cycle tour and first stop after a 30 mile cycle. Got here to find 4 caravans, and 3 extremely friendly welcoming men Can only remember the name of one man - Colin. But we were offered a cuppa and had a lovely chat. Sadly we didn't go for the fishing as could only carry a certain amount of items. But, from the field we were pitched up in, looking over the lake it looked beautiful. Our field was ideal for a one night camp, nicely kept, no rocks, trees to camp under, and the best thing was the toilet. Looked like Britain's worst toilet from the outside -an old caravan, but on the inside, as my pics show, it was very unique. Only 4 star rating as there was no shower, bit hey ho, that's what we brought the wet wipes for. The site did say there's no showers, so we were prepared. If you're\u200b in a caravan, this would be the perfect place for a few nights, in our case, a ideal pit stop
My son and i spent 6 hrs there paid 50 and never had a touch .i have been fly fishing for over 50 years so i know whats its about . There were 6 other anglers there and i only saw 2 gooked and one 4lb caught Not good value for money ,the owner was very courteous man i dont think there was many fish in there soory one star
