Le vrai japonais ! REAL sushi which is hard to come by in Lyon, I ordered out for lunch and had the tuna and salmon sashimi while my girlfriend had a salmon roll, both accompanied by miso and wakame. The fish was delicious and fresh, the wasabi could have been stronger but that’s the spice-lover in me, apparently the French palate isn’t too keen on Takeout sushi is about the only option I like these days as most takeout is either too cold or too hot or gets mushy etc etc but I was happy with the quality, temp, and price (20 per person) we will definitely be back! A piece of Japan in the middle of Lyon. Liked it. Place: is located close to part dieu. They placer is not very big with a minimalist decoration. Service: gentle and fast, there were some Japanese among the staff, which gives always the authentic touch. Food: Miso soup was tasty and hot. Ebi tempura: crispy, well presented, good prawn size. Perfect Ebi Ramen: felt like in Japan while eating this one. Lovely California platter: the rolls and the fish very fresh, missed a bit more of crispy there tho. Chicken Tori katsu: amazing, best one ever tried. Great Japanese experience overall. The best is the quality of the food.
We were family of 4 with 2 children 3yo n 2yo..the atmosphere is obviously not children accomodating..however the staffs are friendly enough to accommodate our commotions! Food is good n within expectations...plenty of menu sets and ala carte to choose...n we were grateful and tummy full !thanks MIKO
Best sushi I've had yet. Very polite and friendly staff! Our waitress made a small mistake (which we didn't mind at all) and gave us free desert. The prices are very correct for the fresh sushi and the service. Definitely the place to go when you're looking for good food in Lyon!
Amazing service, amazing atmosphere, such a beautiful restaurant. You really feel like you're in a fancy restaurant because the service is so clean, polite, classy, elegant, and so well organized. The food is very good, the fish is very fresh and super tasty. I really enjoyed this restaurant a lot. I know I'm a difficult customer and they never showed any signs of being annoyed with me, they were consistently polite and cordial. I highly recommend. Definitely a five star restaurant.
Sushi lovers must give this a try. Booking recommended due to popularity!
We ordered chirashi from there after seeing the place listed as \very fresh\ on some top sushi restaurant list. Indeed, the sushi was very fresh. I recommend.
The Tankatsudon was wonderful. Very expensive though.
