Been looking for a decent chippy for a long time now and decided to go to mikes. Proper fish and chips. Simple.

They sell fish and chips, not great but not bad. It's just the chippy closest to home, if I was desparate for better fish and chips I'd drive further.
Good food and price. Local to home which is even better.
More than 5 stars. Mikes Chippy is such a great place to provide food for a big family. Their service is very efficient and the staff are so kind and polite. Always smiling and greet people as you walk in. Food is always freshly cooked to standard and I have been going here for a VERY long time and could not ask for anything better! Will always come back! :) -x-
Never felt so proud of Mikes Chippy in DERBY ROAD. Sandra is the sweetest and is always proud of her food, especially the chips. She does her best and is so kind to every single customer. Believe me I know. Food is freshy cooked, no problems at all. Very clean and the staff are so lovely. Well mannered. See you again!! :) -x-
