Long time I did not have such an unpleasant experience like I had here today. Absolutely unprofessional and basic/simple set of choices with a terrible service. Rather than preparing dishes in parallel the kitchen just cooks as orders are placed, they will not start with your table until the previous ones have been fully served (even if you order just cheese that requires not cooking). A very childish approach resulting in 1 hour waiting time until you can actually bite a thing. I understand the CoVid environment and limitations but ... this was far too much. I felt ashamed of the image we are giving to the foreigners, given Mijas is a pure turistic destination. Substandard food and service, never again !!

Have to start with the typical \lovely views\. Indeed, brilliant views! Nice setup, lovely atmosphere and a feeling of comfort, cosiness. Our waiter was very attentive, friendly, always in the background and helpful. Drinks were quite fast, liked my sangria, the orange juice was as any fresh orange juice and the cappuccino was lovely. Food was a disappointment though ... The bolognese pasta for our daughter wasn't that tasty, the pasta was a bit overcooked and the sauce quite sour and tangy. The grilled prawns seemed a bit old, very sweet and quite smelly. My grilled octopus was very chewy, bland, the potatoes over boiled and everything drizzled in olive oil (noticed that quite a lot in here) maybe it's a typical way of cooking for this area? Anyway, the food wasn't what we expected, check the photos and you'll have quite high expectations also. Do I recommend? Not really. Three stars only for the looks, atmosphere, views, service and drinks. Go at the top, take few photos, then go down to the restaurant, have a drink to quench your thirst but pretty much that's it.

Very friendly staff and outstanding value! Menu del Dia is incredible - 2 courses AND glass of wine!! Hake or Roast chicken is really good. I always go here when I visit Mijas!!

For a pizzeria....the pizza is not very good! Just the view is worth it!
