Food was good. Swordfish tacos were well seasoned. Beans and rice were cold though and we waited over an hour to be seated. If you go with more then 4 the is a longer wait.
What a great spot! The ambiance was so chill and comfortable... but the food was even better! I got the Miguel’s Trio Burritos and good gracious was it amazing! I loved every single bite. The margarita was decent...I honestly expected a little more but the food more than compensated for that. Overall a great spot and will definitely come back.
Our first time to experience this establishment. Old Town, San Diego, CA location, great plus to offer parking for guests, in back behind the restaurant. We were seated outside as the new regulations per Covid. Actually was several tables set up at side walk, cafe style, not bad at all. We arrived for a late lunch -2pm, a hostess brought some chips & salsa immediately , and waited a good 15 min. for a Server to show up, he was very personable, apologized & stated that they were short-staffed. We tried the Appetizer Platter, it was plentiful, and most of the items tasted good, except for the Ahi Ceviche which was really very fishy-strong smell & taste - not fresh. We had regular iced tea, good & refreshing. In this situation, Management must call in a back up for staffing as guest service delivery will suffer. We did have a pleasant 1 hr, 77F, & the atmosphere was relaxing. We will be back to give the Ceviche another try & hopefully it's improved.
Love this place! The big sell point on this one for me is you get not only free chips and salsa, but you get QUESO too. I always eat way too much and can never eat my food lol. So good! Always super fast and super nice great service! Love it here! My favorite place in old town.
