Very beautiful monastery. Faraway from Midiyat center. Possible to arrive with minibus( direction midyat-idil) and get off on the highway. Then walk approximately for 3 km. Entrance fee 10tl. A tour guide would be provided. Unfortunately not all parts of the monastery were open.
Beautiful, unmissable when in Mardin
You are a wonderful monastery. You can travel in groups with an aristocratic guide. You must see the church which is very special and holy in the Syriac tradition.

This monastery in the Mardin region is a historical place. Built in the 5th century A.D. well maintained. Very clean. The view from the monastery is very attractive.
