I always love dining here. Breakfast is essential to start off my day and Midnight diner is the place. Opens early enough for construction workers. And stays open late for those night owls. The staff is great all the way around. If you stop early enough, well grab coffee together. See yous guys soon.

Visiting North Carolina an iconic food is shrimp and grits.. The Midnight diner was one of the top places recommended in Charlotte.. Definitely a cool throwback place to eat old school diner vibe. Staff was very friendly and helpful!! Although the best part was the Shrimp and Grits, which were Absolutely delicious .. !! If you're in Charlotte I would definitely recommend stopping here, its open 24/7.

Passing through Charlotte driving North & Thanks to Google reviews we found this nostalgic Diner style restaurant. Parking was a bit confusing as adjacent to the place the lot is tiny but there is additional parking in the back of building. Better signs would be helpful. Only other thing I would say is they could use an update which would make the place look cleaner, but they were quite clean and observing COVID-19 safety standards. I add these details because the food and service was tops. Our server Dave was spot on with recommendations of the Shrimp & Grits. The shrimp. Bathing in a delicious Creole sauce was well cooked and practically melted in my mouth. The spice level was perfect without taking away from the flavor of the buttery Grits they lay on top of. Coffee was Diner style but decent (I am not a coffee drinker). I would like to see some good, bold Breakfast Tea on the menu to make the tra drinkers feel special. Thanks Dave and his team for the Great service.

Courteous staff. Good diner style menu with some great additions. I especially enjoyed their shrimp and grits. Their fries were cooked exactly as I want them, crispy outside with warm fluffy centers. I would strongly recommend this establishment. While not fine dining, they do an excellent job at making a basic menu with flare and taste.

This is a great little spot. The menu has lots of things to choose from. The biscuits and gravy were delicious. There was a nice portion of hash browns. My daughter got chocolate chip pancakes and they did not skimp on the chocolate chips. Lol. There was almost too many. My daughter loved it. This is a great place to go to cure a hangover or just to enjoy a nice quiet Sunday afternoon. It is right in uptown with ample parking. We will definitely be back.
