Just one person in van service. Phones don't get answered. Long wait at front desk. There are dozens of other staff around. They could help her but don't. I've heard of job demarcation, but these guys take it to next level. She did her best, but her colleagues didn't. Need to improve customer experience.

Wanted a 3rd generation Sprinter van in black with 2 seats, and Midlands Truck and Van had what appeared to be the only one in the country, an ex demo. It was during the December lockdown, so this meant completing the purchase without seeing the van first. I needn't have had any concerns as the van fulfilled all of my expectations. I dealt with Steve Horseman first who was a real gent and a pleasure to do business with, and the purchase was completed by Stuart Bachelor who was equally as helpful, and even rang me during the Christmas holidays a few days after delivery of the van to make sure I was happy with everything.
Great service from Steve Horseman on a Vito order. Very helpful to get the spec right and very quick responses all the way through.
Twice now I've had a wasted day having booked my van in here for work. Twice I've turned up at 7.30 as agreed with the understanding that work would be carried out on the day (as I'm a sole trader reliant on one vehicle) - only to return to an untouched van in the evening. There won't be a third opportunity for this useless shower of incompetents to waste my time and money. Answering the phone or even having someone in reception is apparently beneath them. They may have new premises but the customer service is just as atrocious as it was in Saltley. No phone calls with status updates as you would expect. Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles were an absolute joy in comparison - I never had the slightest problem in 5 years with them. Unless you're a large fleet operator (who they no doubt give preferential treatment to) then I'd avoid this place like they're someone with a fever and a dry cough.
