I made the mistake of ordering a pork roast. The crackling was soft and chewy and tasted awful (so not 'crackling' at all). The roast potato was overcooked and unpleasant enough for me to try one mouthful and leave the rest. The pork was overcooked and quite dry despite the crackling being soggy and unpleasant to eat (I left it after a trial bite). The apple sauce wasn't a sauce but rather tasteless chunks of softened apple. Not nice. The pumpkin was nice enough. Service was pretty terrible too - no smile, no joy, no politeness - more like a production line where I was just a number. The chips were amazing and probably the best I've ever had. I would have given a score of 1 but the chips alone pushed it up to a 2.

My food got cold while the girl literally stood around weighing the box adding one chip at a time until it hit some magical number and did the same with the beef roll my wife ordered and put back the tiniest string of meat to make it exact. Overall, poor value, poor flavour, and shockingly bad service model. I ended up giving my meat box to the dog after one bite.

It’s always a good sign when there’s a queue of people lining up to get food and this is what I found with Bucking ball in the Midland gate shopping centre. Always a nice display of food beer pork crackling potatoes peas and your roast meals. With all the renovations going on at the Midland gate shopping centre there is now a brand-new eating area to sit down and enjoy the meals from Bucking ball at Midland gate

Never again! If I could've given 0 I would've. Totally disorganised and under trained staff. Tasteless food and for the price and amount you get its disgusting.

Very poor value for money here. Their prices are way too expensive for the amount of food they give you. At over 20 for a roast pork roll with chips and pepsi, they should at least fill the roll properly instead of being so stingy and weighing out just a tiny little bit of pork to put in the roll. Adding an extra 1 to your bill for a tiny bit of gravy on your chips when you're already paying over 20 is also super stingy.

Overpriced for what you could make yourself. It tastes nice but the recent price hike makes it not worth it
