Just received my watch back last week and it's looking as good as new. The service I've had from Sean has been exceptional and the quality of his work is outstanding. I'd like to thank him for his patience, speedy replies to my emails and attention to detail. His prices are extremely reasonable for the work he does and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Great service and very reasonable price, Sean repaired a vintage Zenith watch that hadn’t worked for 30 years! Seamless service from start to finish and kept informed regularly. Can’t rate them high enough. So pleased with the final result.

Fantastic service, reasonably priced and with Sean’s skill set your watch will be repaired by an expert watch maker to absolute perfection. I recently sent a vintage Heuer to Sean for a full upheaval and he did a wonderful job. Highly recommended! Thanks Sean and good luck for the future!

Sean is one of the best vintage watch-smiths working today anywhere in the world. Full stop. He is thorough, attentive, passionate, and caring -- and at a level equivalent to that of the most obsessive watch collectors and enthusiasts, a rare quality indeed. From the time you send your watch to Sean until the time he sends it back to you, you know exactly what's going on - you will get detailed, comprehensive analysis about what's wrong and how he proposes to fix it (and will fix it), with high-resolution photographs of every part and stage in the process. There is never a moment where you don't know what's happening. As part of his booking and job-management system, you can actually see where your watch is in the queue, along with annotations about the work being performed. So you get complete transparency of the entire process. But this is not to say that anything is run by bots or automated. Sean will frequently get in touch (via e-mail or text) with personal, thoughtful, detailed notes, offering a range of solutions to myriad problems the watch might have. He is thorough because he cares deeply about watches and his craft; he wants to get it right. And he's very, very kind. And, in the end, he doesn't cut any corners. Some watchmakers will take a \good enough\ approach -- not Sean. He will do everything in his power and ability to make sure the watch is running perfectly, with original and authentic parts. If he doesn't have those parts, he will do his best to find them, going the extra mile for you and your watch. And, if that's not enough, his prices are extraordinarily fair. As watch collectors, we often see listings with the subject RARE. Sean is as RARE as they come. He's the Pre-Daytona Chronograph of watchmakers. I can't recommend him highly enough. 5 stars isn't enough.

I have been using About Time Watch Repair to service my watches since early 2017. I think it is time I leave a formal review (Sean, I am sorry it has taken me so long). About Time has serviced many of my watches such as divers, GMT’s and Chronographs. I am a collector based out of NY and originally reached out to Sean via Instagram. I don’t know where to start, but I suppose I by describing the process your watch will go through because nowadays I think it is unparalleled. Once your watch is received it is checked in on the website with a few photographs and a brief description highlighting the watchmaker’s initial assessment. You are given a login for the website’s customer tracking page and your watch is put in queue which automatically updates as your watch gets closer. When your watches time for service comes due the photographs are updated and you are communicated with and your input is requested if needed. Sean goes above and beyond to help source parts if needed and makes you feel like you’re involved in the service. It is so awesome when it all comes together and your watch is finished. The overall service and experience is incredible and it is very reasonably priced. I really could not recommend About Time Watch Repair enough. Thank you Sean for all of your hard work.
