I stayed at Nittany Place for three years while attending Penn State Harrisburg. Personally, I have had a great time here. The apartments are definitely the nicest among the off-campus housing options, they are modern, with all utilities installed in each apartment which is a big plus. It's an excellent community close to campus with a great outdoor area with seats and grills. I am very happy I chose to stay here during my years in college and would recommend it for any incoming students looking into off-campus housing.

I lived here for two years and the apartments are nice, however there are some major cons. First of all you need to pay to have the carpet cleaned upon move out, you also have to pay for any little imperfection you may leave behind. The complex just raised their prices due to the competing complex (Campus Heights) raising their rent. However, Campus Heights raised rent because of the addition of a pool and activity center, while Nittany Place received no such upgrade (just thought that incoming college students should know). I had such a bad experience with this complex that my senior year I chose to live off campus. When you move into this complex you fill out a forwarding address which is normally to forward mail after moving out. However, when I left Nittany Place (during a Pandemic mind you) I was told that my mail would not be forwarded. I had so many packages that were backed up from the pandemic that I was unable to pick up before my lease expired. Pat told me to drive down to school to pick up the packages, I live almost two hours away! I had to pay 45 in shipping fees to have my OWN packages mailed back to me because the complex would only hold my packages for two weeks. It is ridiculous that this company is so money hungry that they charged for rent during the pandemic when no classes were in person AND require students to uphold their contract for the upcoming semester after finding out their classes are online.

We thought it was a great place!! Our son Stayed here three years . After each year our family cleaned the apartment just as required and the first year we received our security back! The second year we cleaned again and I had to fight to get money back and now this year they were on spring break, rent was paid for March the pandemic started and he did not returned to apartment to stay as governor and PSU stated . I contacted them to see if they were going to work with these students on leases, only to be informed NO!! Leases are signed and need to be paid!! So they got March rent, April and May rent in full even though he used no apartment, no heat, no water no anything. We went down the end of March to get all his belongings, cleaned the apartment solely again because we want our security back and I am a clean freak and would never just leave it!! Only to say they are telling us it was not cleaned, it needs paint, etc!! Well it was cleaned personally by ME!!! If there were a few marks that didn’t come off something SORRY but things do get used and wear and tear after daily use!!! No way should we have had to pay two and a half months rent During a PANDEMIC when not in use let alone you keep our security deposit too!!! You should of took care of the tenants who took care of your place!!! A RIP-OFF!!! DO NOT RENT from HERE!! It was ok till you move out for good then they want to charge for everything!!! Nittany place you still owe me 210!!!

Worst management to have ever existed, zero flexibility and social responsibility. These guys charged rents and late fees even during the COVID-19 pandemic and forced me to come get my stuff before my lease ended. Pathetic!

I honestly really enjoy my apartment! I have not had any major issues besides other residents being loud. I think its a very nice place to live and its close to campus. The staff have been nothing but helpful. I will be returning next year!
