Make sure you check your car thoroughly before buying a car from these guys, IN PERSON, during covid especially. Pictures/Videos don't show imperfections at all, but your eyes do. Sold me a car that has 4 dents in it, they drove a white car 130 miles down the motorway and asked me to inspect it while it was covered in dirt and mud. Didn't even bother to velvet the car before giving it to me either. Told me they'd book it in to get fixed, but the person who sold me the car, who I won't name, never even bothered to reply to me after that. Having to pay out of pocket myself to fix this. Will never buy a car from these guys again.

If only 0 stars were an option... Had dreadful experience with Evans Halshaw Middlesbrough (Vauxhall) who supplied us with a car in Jan2019, took out an extended warranty and a service plan at the time which was a good idea. Car went in for service and MOT on 26th August where they discovered a minor oil leak which they would 'fix under warranty'. Great, work was planned in and expected to be able to collect car later that day. 9 days later after repeated calls from myself and my wife for updates on the vehicle we finally collected it. Put it down to a one-off. Sadly within a couple of days of getting the vehicle back it developed another 2 faults, gearbox related issue and a low coolant warning both of which may or may not be coincidence but could also be directly related to the fault that was originally diagnosed or the work that was done. Arranged to get car back to them for diagnosis and repair. 16 days later we collected the car, no courtesy cars available during this period so left to fend for ourselves (lifts, buses and taxis) and no apologies for delay. Vehicle had been repaired by a third party, and gearbox appears fine now, but coolant warning still on dash. I'll do it myself but it defeats the object. Honestly lost all faith in them. Very poor communication throughout and feel like we've been fed a load of nonsense at times. Very disappointed and once this service and warranty package is done I would not use again based on this experience.

Avoid like the plague! Bought an Insignia from EH mbro in 2016 which ended up getting inspected independently to prove it had faults at point of purchase. Finance was cancelled and we were compensated. Fast forward to 2018, my daughter (against our advice) purchased a 66 plate Astra from here which developed a steering rack fault. We have paid for another independent inspection and proved once again that the car had faults at point of purchase. Seems Darren Cairns thought he knew better though and denied there to be any faults as they would have been picked up on MOT's, even though an MOT is only a visual check. You can't really argue with a specialist forensic report Mr Cairns! He told lies to the finance company claiming he had got proof from numerous garages that the car was fault free but had nothing to back this up. Also it has come to light this vehicle was an ex-rental which the dealership failed to disclose. This is going to be an interesting outcome! Mr Cairns may think our silence means we have gone away...we most certainly have not. See you in court Pendragon group.
