I’ve only been to this place once to get calamari and chips to go. I paid 8,45 pounds for 10 rings of calamari and chips. It turns out the calamari are not calamari. Coming from a fishermen’s town, I know that calamari rings cannot be broken into two pieces with your hands because they are elastic. Well, with these you can, and when you open them they look like a dough instead of actual squid. Conclusion: not ordering again. I cannot judge on the fish though. The person at the counter was not very nice, although polite.

Arrived on the Heathrow Express. Micky's is 2 minutes walk from Paddington Station. Got the takeaway medium fish meal for 8.45 and added mushy peas. Walked round the corner to Norfolk Square and sat on a bench in the lovely gardens to eat it. Fish had a great creamy taste with crunchy batter - even after I drowned it with salt and vinegar! Chips were light and fluffy and the obligatory mushy peas finished it off nicely. Lovely friendly staff too. Will definitely return when passing through London!

The food is usually good but can be bad sometimes. Their customer service is terrible though. I avoid going their sometimes because of the unwelcoming environment!

Excellent place to eat. The workers are so welcoming and the quality of the fish is just crazy. All of this for only 7.45 pounds with very generous quantities. And the coleslaw salad is so tasty too ! Would definitely come back again!

The food is not expensive and you get value for money. Fish was very good, chips a bit too soft to my taste. Quick service. I ordered take away, but place looked clean. I can recommend this place if you are looking for something cheap and quick.
