Fantastic fish and chips, the large cod that I was served exceeded my expectations for portion size it was huge! The chips and mushy peas are really tasty and the owner even gave me a free curry sauce which was brilliant. They have some 5 pound specials which are great value but I decided to get large portions of everything. They also do fried chicken which I’d like to try at some stage. Friendly staff and great food, it’s take away only and cards are accepted for payment not just cash. #BeatTheGrind
The best chippy in Hackney without a doubt. Went there for the first time in ages last night and the service was impeccable. Even gave me one of my portions of plaice & chips on the house because it was smaller than they would normally do, as it was the last piece of plaice. Real pride in making the best fish and chips. The curry sauce, mushy peas and spring rolls were also excellent.

The Best Chippy in hackney..polite and friendly staff . The Owner H, gives every customer a professional service with an added personal touch. Known to all locally as our chip shop guy..I have used this place for many years and have also given special orders for parties and the food has always been fresh and tasty. My car broke down outside his shop once during the summer heat wave and he came out with cold drinks.. Proper decent and genuine guy.
