Micks place is one of 4 local Fish and Chip shops I use on a regular basis depending on day of week or journey location. At Micks it is lovely quality Fish and Chips, the only fault is the portion sizes, even the large portions at Mick's Place are, at best, equivalent to a medium size to anywhere else I regularly frequent and the smaller sizes are even worse. Would I still recommend Mick's Place? Yes I would but be ready to maybe buy an extra bag of chips to top up the portion size.
Chips not cooked long enough all stuck together and really soft. Fishcakes were not like they normally are either. Altogether pretty terrible
Nothing wrong here if you like good fish and chips this is your place..
Absolutely delicious. We really enjoyed our fish & chips and will certainly be back.
