Wow what a good meal we had here. The decor is non-existent and charm lacking, but this clean and bright Chinese restaurant has got it going on in the kitchen! First we had fried dumplings that were supple and elegant. As a main course I had the Seafood Fried Noodle and my friend had the House Fried Noodle. Both were cozy as if mom had made the dishes. The broth was light and clean in both dishes. The House version had a richer taste to it because of the pork and chicken, which made the broth almost sweet. Lovely.
The food and service were ahead of my expectations. We really loved the atmosphere of this restaurant. Nice restaurant to take my family out for lunch.
Their dried fried chicken wings are what makes them so famous, but they also have decent dumplings/fried rice/green peas as well. Their fried fish is not too bad either, but I usually opt for their chicken wings whenever I go. Sometimes there is a huge takeout line so make sure to prepare to wait if you are getting takeout.
Have ordered yesterday the Pepper Steak with Rice. And it was only few pcs. of beef and a LOT of onion. So, Id call it onions with rice. The rice should be also white plain (as on the picture), but the one I got was seasoned with somethings. Not satisfied. The picture shows how many onions were.
