I took my friend out to eat lunch today, and this place was the first to come up in suggestions. We were the only ones there & waited awhile for our food. When I finally got my food, parts of it was cold. While it wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, I ate it because I’m paying for it. I do wish it wasn’t soggy, and the size of my sopes were small for being almost 11. The place was cute and calm. My friend didn’t enjoy much of her lunch either since it was soggy as well. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone unless they like waiting & soggy cold food.

An Aberdeen gem like no other! Absolutely the best Mexican food in town and sweet staff. Under new ownership and with some much needed updates and changes, but same authentic dishes and slurp-worthy salsa and quac!

Delicious and in the heart of Downtown Aberdeen. Had the burrito and it was great. Even the rice and beans had a unique tastiness to it. Recently expanded the bar and menu items. Authentic food; friendly staff.

I'm not sure if we had an off day with them, as the other reviews make it sound amazing. I've never done a review before but felt I needed to after today. The staff are super nice and friendly, but the food was below generic unfortunately which was a surprise given the past reviews. The salsa tasted similar to spaghetti-o's, maybe it was a bad batch im not sure. Just had this overly sweet canned taste to it.The house margaritas tasted like pure sweet and sour mix, like if you just drank it straight from the bottle you get from a grocery store. The re fried beans had this burnt taste to them, they looked fine but had no flavor other than I guess you could say charcoal? The rice had no flavor at all, again they looked fine but was literally nothing to it at all. My wife got the Mexican burrito and it was average at best, not grilled or baked just in a raw flour tortilla with what tasted like marinara sauce on top. I got a chimichanga and it was alright, was pretty soft but the ends were at least kinda crispy. We wanted to like the place, but as a chef and foodie I couldn't not at least let people know. Maybe if you don't know tex mex/Mexican cuisine you'll like it, but if you're looking for a solid meal maybe hit up another place
