I absolutely love to see the building that was my childhood Blockbuster again used like this. The store is rad, great selection of about any old physical media you need from 8-track to vinyl and even to Laserdisc. Crazy. The staff is awesome and super helpful. I'm a huge fan of the "buy three get a fourth free" on ANYTHING policy too!

Really cool place. It's nice to see that the traditional movie store has not completely died. Friendly and helpful staff. It is fun to do things the old school way.
Absolutely love that this place opened up here! I always used to tell my husband that I miss the blockbuster that was here and this really fills the void. Tons of movies and games to choose from with great rates.
I am retired and come in to the store almost every day. I trade in my collections for credit on rentals. There selection is fantastic and 1 rental for everything is awesome. The BIGGEST joy in shopping House of Used really is the employees. I most often see Sam and Molly as I shop in the early afternoon. I have ALWAYS gotten a warm greeting EVERY time I come in the door. They are always polite and as helpful as they possibly can be. I always leave the store with a video in my hand and a smile on my face. All of the employees are great, but I must say that I am always thrilled to see Molly or Sam at the register because they often have something fun to say. I think all of Mesa should visit the House of Used store and see their large selection, great prices, and superb service. Also, there are two stores. The one on Lindsay has a great selection of items that aren't on disks, such as games. This is truly a "local" business that has not a drop of corporate attitude. Keep up the good work!
About average prices for a used store but more hidden gems. Tonight I got a free item for a buy 3 get one of equal or lesser value. Which actually turned about to be a really good deal. Got my girlfriend a Robin figurine for free.
I knew this place when it was a Blockbuster. Watched it close down and sit empty for years. Watched it re-open in its current incantation. When I was finally able to visit (have money), I looked forward to it. I was so excited to visit. When I walked into the store, I was taken aback by the strong smell of urine, and how stuffy it was. Unfortunately, I've been diagnosed with recent breathing issues, and immediately could not breathe as well as I'd liked. I had hoped the air would get better, or I'd get used to it. But it didn't & I didn't. The guy who helped me was very nice, and a fellow movie nerd, although he kept his head down and didn't look at me once. I wanted to bury myself in the store and look around, because they do have great prices, and a treasure trove of movies, comics and games I wanted to look through. But I became overwhelmed by the smell, the stuffiness, the "feeling off" about the employees (It felt like they didn't want me there.,), and my Idiot (my ride) who was with me, constantly whining to go home. When I asked about 2 films I wanted to buy, I was referred to the University store where the manager/owner supposedly was. If I had to choose between the two stores, I'd go to this one, because at least they were a little more nicer than the University store. Unfortunately, that's not saying much. I will not be back.
Love this place! You can rent almost everything in the store. I recently moved and I will really miss bringing my son in to pick out a new game. Friendly staff and great prices.
Always nice people here. Good deals on things old and new. Need an SNES? Done! Want an album for your record player? Done deal! It's a buy and sell location. Deals better than Gamestop.
