Great place to take your kids. Nice woodsy area and of course the wolves are out and about to see. Our son loved the feeding time as, of course, all the wolves show up when the dinner bell rings. We will definitely go back.

The Wolfpark is situated a little bit away from the Merzig city centre. The park itself is quite small, but well maintained. There are around 5-6 different families of wolves present there. The enclosures are larger than those in zoos, so it's entirely possible that you may not see all the wolves. Otherwise it's a good place to spend a couple of hours at. The first Sunday of every month is a free guided tour during feeding time. The entry is free throughout the year, but visitors can give a donation amount if they wish.
Wolf park Werner freund is good place for family where has 7 group separate place, easier to see wild animal and read post on wolf habits and life. Total watching time takes around 1hour for seeing wolf's as well as there are a few huge forest for taking walk taking a few km. Entrance is free. Your child can get wolf masks paper at the office of entrance. Nearby, restaurant for having cool beer.
Wolves in an absolute astonishing environment. Like you see them in the wild! Don't expect a kind of ZOO, you will have do you very best to spot them! (and we liked that!)
We were lucky to hear the wolves howling and through that we got to see many of them as they came out from hiding
